Connections

When you program an auto-dial number (Rapid Key or Speed Dial number), you can specify that the number use a particular line.

Note: The LINE key cannot be used to select a line if either of the lines has been set to reception only using Option Setting 31 (Dial Selection). A line selection made with the LINE key will override a line selection programmed into a Rapid Key or Speed Dial number.

Verification Stamp (option)

Note: This function is available as an option. Consult your dealer if you wish to use it.

When transmitting a document, you can have your fax stamp each document page as it is scanned. After scanning, you can check to see if all documents have been stamped to verify that no double feeds occurred. (A double feed is when two pages are fed through the scanner at once, which means that one of the pages is not scanned.)

To use this function, have your dealer install the Verification Stamp option, and then set Option Setting 29 to ON as explained in Chapter 6, Optional Settings.

The F.A.S.T. System (optional service)

To ensure that you obtain maximum productivity from your fax machine, the F.A.S.T. System for remote diagnostics and maintenance is available as a special service from your dealer. This system constantly monitors your fax machine and immediately reports electronically any problems or supply depletions to your dealer. This allows your dealer to take action before you may even be aware of the problem. The F.A.S.T. System also enables your dealer to remotely program phone numbers, software settings, and other user information at your request. For more information on the F.A.S.T. System, contact your dealer.
