Entering a name for the cordless handset

You can enter a name for the cordless handset in the machine.

♦The machine will transmit the name that you enter to your cordless handset. The name will appear in the cordless handset’s display.

1		FUNCTION		Machine display:
	Press	once and	twice on	ENTRY MODE

	Press	once and	once.	HS NAME SET

	Press	once.		HS NAME SET
				1=SET, 2=CLEAR

	Press	to select SET.		SELECT HS NO.
				ENTER (1 - 8)
5	(To clear a name, press		.)
	Press	. (“1” is the handset number		ENTER HS NAME
				HS1 SELECTED

6 Enter the name by pressing number keys for each letter as shown in the chart below. Up to 10 characters can be entered.

(If you are clearing a name, skip this step and go directly to Step 7.)

B =	I =	P =	W =
C =	J =	Q =	X =
D =	K =	R =	Y =

♦To enter two letters in succession that require the same key, press after entering the first letter.
