Blocking Calls

Blocking “PRIVATE CALLS”

If you have Caller ID service and have turned on the Caller ID function, you can have the machine automatically block all calls for which Caller ID information is not provided at the caller’s request (calls for which “PRIVATE CALL” appears).

When this function is turned on, the machine will break the connection as soon as it receives Caller ID information when a “PRIVATE CALL” is received.

2Press (YES) to turn on the function. (To turn off the function,

press (NO).)

3 Press

to exit.

Blocking “OUT OF AREA” calls

If you have Caller ID service and have turned on the Caller ID function, you can have the machine automatically block all calls for which “OUT OF AREA” appears.

When this function is turned on, the machine will break the connection as soon as it receives Caller ID information when an “OUT OF AREA” call is received.

2Press (YES) to turn on the function. (To turn off the function,

press (NO).)

3 Press

to exit.

Blocking calls from specified numbers (Anti Junk numbers)

If you have Caller ID service and have turned on the Caller ID function, you can have the machine automatically block calls from numbers that you specify.

To use this function, enter the fax/phone numbers that you want to block. Up to 30 numbers can be entered.

1Press F , , , F .

2Enter the number (maximum of 20 digits).

Note: Enter numbers only; hyphens and spaces cannot be entered.

3Press START .

4 Press

to exit.

Deleting a single Anti Junk number:

1Press F , , .

2Press F or F until the number you wish to delete appears.
