2 Insurance terms

2.1Orange Personal Communications Services Limited (Orange) is monitored by HSBC Insurance Brokers Limited which is a member of the General Insurance Standards Council.

2.2Orange is authorised by the insurer to collect premiums, to accept or decline claims, to arrange repairs and issue replacement phones on behalf of the insurer. For the purposes of this insurance, ‘phone’ means handset, standard battery, SIM Card and charger, originally supplied as part of the standard package.

2.3The insurance is arranged with an authorised insurer whose details are available upon request to HSBC Insurance Brokers Limited, Quay West, Trafford Wharf Road, Manchester, M17 1PL.

2.4The following paragraphs describe the conditions and cover provided under the terms of this insurance which forms part of a master policy arranged by HSBC Insurance Brokers Limited on

behalf of Orange. This insurance is subject to the terms and conditions of the master policy, a copy of which can be obtained from HSBC Insurance Brokers Limited. Requests should be made in writing, stating your Orange phone number.

3Cover for lost, stolen and damaged phones

Your phone is insured worldwide subject to the terms of the insurance policy (see clause 6.14). If your phone (or parts thereof) is lost, stolen or damaged you will be entitled to a replacement or repair free of charge provided you have complied in all respects with the terms and conditions of the policy and in particular:

3.1Loss, theft or malicious damage claims must be reported to the Police immediately but in any event within 24 hours of discovery of the occurrence. In respect of claims arising outside the United Kingdom please refer to Clause 6.14.
