Orange Answer Fax

If you spend a lot of time away from the office, you can still keep on top of your faxes with Orange Answer Fax, which enables your Orange phone to store faxes until it is convenient for you to print them. Whenever

a colleague or friend sends you a fax on your personal Answer Fax number, you will receive a text message that tells you how many pages there are and the number it was sent from.

You can then use your Orange phone to retrieve and print your faxes using any fax machine that is convenient to you.

Simply call your Answer Phone by pressing and holding the 1 key, and follow the simple prompts to retrieve your faxes.

To connect to Orange Answer Fax, call 158 from your Orange phone.

Note: The availability of Orange Answer Fax is dependent upon the network you are using. You are charged a standard data call charge.

To install your C55 as a modem:

1Download the GPRS modem assistant software from www.my-siemens.com.

2Connect your C55 to your laptop via a data cable.

3Select the modem software, and then select data cable as your method of connection.

4Select an automatic or manual connection, and then install the modem assistant software.

5Once the software is installed, the Siemens icon will appear on your display.

6A phone connection wizard will appear on your display. Work through the wizard, which will require you to enter a name for your phone.

To activate your data and fax modem, double-click the Siemens icon, enter your location and ‘Orange UK’ as your service provider, and then select Connect.

To end your connection, double-click the Siemens icon and select Yes.
