Verifyingthe network's DNSconfiguration
Verify that the network’s DNS is c onfiguredcorrectly so the IP address resolvedby the network’s
DNS is the same as the SMARTBridgit Server’s IP address.
gTo verifythat the DNS i s configuredcorrectly
1. Opena C ommandPrompt window on the SMARTBridgitserver, type ipconfig and then press
ENTER.
Theserver's network configurationinformationappears, includingits IP address.
2. Type nslookup <ServerDomainName>and then press ENTER.
OR
Typeping <ServerDomainName> usingt hedomain name fort heSMAR TBridgitServer, and
thenpress ENTER.
TheIP addresst hat thenetwork’s DNS resolves to appears.
3. Comparethe IP addresses.
