1. Go to C:\Windows\system32\drivers\etcon the SMART Bridgit client computer, and then
openthe HOSTS file.
2. Add an entrys o that the domainname you’reusing to c onnectto t heSMAR TBridgitserver
resolvest o thes erver’sIP address.
This procedureis effect ivefor SMART Bridgit clients ont hisc omputeronly. Otherclients can
usea direct IP address ort heIP address resolvedfrom the domain nameby your network’s
DNS server.

Verifyingport forwardingand firewall configurationIf clients are still unable to connect to the server, verify that port forwardingon the network routersis
configuredto give clients access t o the server,and that firewalls protecting the SMART Bridgit server
