After you install SMART Bridgit server software, you can use SMART Bridgit
AdministrationTools to create additionalserver access and meeting creation
passwords.

access password

Domain namesIf you’re usinga public domain name,y ourSMAR TBridgitserver is accessible to cli ents connecting
via the Internet.I f you use a private domainname, your SMARTBridgitserver is access ibleonly t o
clients connectingfrom wit hiny ourLAN.
Registereddomain name
Toacc ess a server overthe Internet, you must use a fully qualifieddomain name(FQDN) t hatexis ts
int herecords of apublic DNS server. If an FQDN isn't availablefor your server,users can access
yourserver over the Internet usingits IP address directly.
II M P O R TA N T
Do notmix FQDNs and unqualifieddomain names(those notregistered ona DNS server) in the
sameSMAR TBridgitserver Global serverNetw ork(GSN).
IPv4/IPv6 addresses
Duringthe installation process, SMARTBridgit software detects the IP addresses boundto the
servers' networkinterface cards. You can choose to bind SMARTBridgits oftwaret o oneor all of the
computers'IP addresses, if there is moret hanone IP address assigned to the computer.
