What is the “InfoLITHIUM” battery pack?

The “InfoLITHIUM” battery pack is a lithium-ion battery pack that has functions for communicating information related to operating conditions between your camcorder and the AC adaptor/charger (optional).

The “InfoLITHIUM” battery pack calculates the power consumption according to the operating conditions of your camcorder, and displays the remaining battery time in minutes.

Wat is een “InfoLITHIUM” batterij?

Een “InfoLITHIUM” batterijpak is een lithium- ionbatterijpak dat informatie over werkingsomstandigheden kan overbrengen tussen uw camcorder en een los verkrijgbare netspanningsadapter/lader.

Charging the battery pack

•Be sure to charge the battery pack before you start using your camcorder.

•We recommend charging the battery pack in an ambient temperature of between 10°C to 30°C (50°F to 86°F) until FULL appears indicating the battery pack is fully charged, in the display window. If you charge the battery pack outside of this temperature range, you may not be able to efficiently charge the battery pack.

•After charging is completed, either disconnect the cable from the DC IN jack on your camcorder or remove the battery pack.

Effective use of the battery pack

•Battery performance decreases in low- temperature surroundings. So, the time that the battery pack can be used is shorter in cold places. We recommend the following to use the battery pack longer:

–Put the battery pack in a pocket to warm it up, and insert it in your camcorder immediately before you start taking shots.

–Use the large capacity battery pack (NP- FM50/FM70/QM71/FM90/FM91/QM91 optional).

•Frequently using the LCD panel or frequently operating playback, fast forward or rewind wears out the battery pack faster. We recommend using the large capacity battery pack (NP-FM50/FM70/QM71/FM90/FM91/ QM91 optional).

•Be certain to turn the POWER switch to OFF (CHG) when not taking shots or playing back on your camcorder. Battery pack power is also consumed when your camcorder is in the standby mode or playback is paused.

Effectief gebruik van het batterijpak

•De werking van de batterij wordt minder bij lage temperaturen. In een koude omgeving zal het batterijpak dus minder lang meegaan. Voor een langdurig probleemloos gebruik raden wij u het volgende aan:

–Bewaar het batterijpak in een zak om het warm te houden en plaats het meteen voor u begint te filmen in uw camcorder.

–Gebruik zo mogelijk een batterijpak met hoge capaciteit (NP-FM50/FM70/QM71/FM90/ FM91/QM91 los verkrijgbaar).

•Bij intensief gebruik van het LCD scherm of veelvuldig wisselen tussen afspelen, vooruitspoelen en terugspoelen zal de batterij sneller leegraken. Gebruik zo mogelijk een batterijpak met hoge capaciteit (NP-FM50/ FM70/QM71/FM90/FM91/QM91 los verkrijgbaar).

•Zet zoveel mogelijk de POWER schakelaar terug op OFF (CHG) tijdens het opnemen of afspelen met uw camcorder. De batterij raakt ook leeg wanneer de camcorder in de opnamepauzestand of weergavepauzestand staat.
