The maximum number of files that can be created on one disc, including directories, is 5000 for a single- layer disc and 6000 for a dual-layer disc.

File names and directory names can use letters,

numbers, and symbols from the Unicode 2.0 (UTF-8) character set. 1)

However, the following control characters and symbols cannot be used.

-Control characters: U+0000 to U+001F, U+007F

-Symbols: ", *, /, :, <, >, ', ?, \,

To create a new directory in the General directory, first create a directory on the desktop and rename it using only characters that can be used on this unit. Then drag it from the desktop and drop it in the General directory.

PROAV directory

This directory displays individual files on the disc.

To enable display of the PROAV directory, set PROAV DISPLAY on the CAM CONIG 1 page of the MAINTENANCE menu to “ENABL”.
