2.7Medium Auxiliary Memory

Medium Auxiliary Memory (MAM) is a feature in the SDLT 600 tape drive that produces various attributes about the data cartridge and records them in a log file on the media itself. These attributes provide the underlying information for the DLTSage suite of predictive and preventive maintenance diagnostics software.
