5.2.2 Editing Leased Line PPP Options

To edit the remote node PPP Options in the case of a Leased Line connection, move the cursor to the [Edit PPP Options] field in Menu 11.2 - Remote Node Profile, and use the space bar to toggle and select [Yes], then press [Enter]. Menu 11.2 appears as shown in Figure 5-5.

Compression= No

Press ENTER to CONFIRM or ESC to CANCEL:

Press Space Bar to Toggle.

Table 5-4 describes the Remote Node PPP Options Menu for Leased Line applications, and

contains instructions on how to configure the PPP options fields.

Field	Description	Option
Encapsulation	Select CCP (Compression Control Protocol) for the
	PPP or MP link. There are two options in this field.
	• Standard PPP - Standard PPP options will be	[Standard PPP]
	used.
	• CISCO PPP - Cisco PPP options will be used.	[CISCO PPP]
Compression	Turn on the Stac Compression. The default for this	[On/Off]
	field is Off.	(Default = Off)
