L If there is no item corresponding to the letter you selected, the next item will be displayed.

3.7Chain dial (Cordless handset only)

This feature allows you to dial phone numbers in the cordless handset phonebook while you are on a call. This feature can be used, for example, to dial a calling card access number or bank account PIN that you have stored in the cordless handset phonebook, without having to dial manually.

1While on a call, press H.

2Press {^} or {V} repeatedly to select the desired item.

L To search by first character (index search), see page 26. To search by category, see page 26.

3Press #to dial the number.

You can store 100 items to the base unit phonebook.

LThe cordless handset has its own individual

phonebook (page 25).
