Recording a marker message
After playing back the messages, you can leave an additional message.
1.Wait for 3 beeps indicating the end of the remote operation.
2.Wait about 10 seconds.
3.Hear the voice guide.
4.Hear 1 beep.
5.Leave a message.
To turn ON the auto answer setting
1.Call your unit and let it ring 10 rings. L A beep will sound.
2.Enter the remote operation ID (page 48, feature #11 on page 51) within 10 seconds.
L The receiving mode will be set to TAM/FAX or FAX ONLY mode, depending on the setting of feature #77 (page 55).
3.Hang up the handset.
Note:
LYou cannot turn ON the auto answer setting in the following cases:
–when the unit is set to TEL mode and during night mode (page 24, feature #35 on page 52).
