This chapter explains how to adjust machine settings. The list of all the settings is also provided for your reference.
Accessing the Machine Settings
1 Press [Menu].
2 Press [
You have now accessed the settings in the USER DATA LIST.

FAX SETTINGS
Name | Descriptions |

1. RECEIVE MODE | Sets how the machine receives fax and telephone calls. |
|
|
FaxOnly | The machine automatically receives faxes, all calls will be |
| answered as fax transmission. Voice calls will then be |
| disconnected. |
|
|
FaxTel | The machine automatically switches between fax and |
| voice calls. Fax will be received automatically, and the |
| machine will ring for voice calls. |
|
|
AnsMode | The machine receives documents automatically and the |
| answering machine records voice calls. |
|
|
Manual | The connected telephone rings when the machine |
| receives both fax and voice calls. Fax calls must be |
| answered manually. If <MAN/AUTO SWITCH> is set to |
| <ON>, faxes can be received automatically. (See <4. |
