4. TX SETTINGS

Sets the transmission functions.

 

 

1. ECM TX

The ECM (Error Correction Mode) transmission is

 

turned on or off.

 

 

ON

All transmissions are conducted with ECM if the other

 

party's fax supports ECM.

 

 

OFF

ECM is turned off.

 

 

2. PAUSE TIME

Sets the length of the pause you insert into a dialing

 

sequence.

 

1SEC to 15SEC (4SEC)

 

 

3. AUTO REDIAL

Sets whether to perform automatic redial when the

 

other line is busy or no answer.

 

 

ON

Customizes the redial operation.

 

 

1. REDIAL TIMES

Sets the number of retries.

 

1TIMES to 10TIMES (2TIMES)

 

 

2. REDIAL INTERVAL

Sets period of time between redialing.

 

2MIN. to 99MIN. (2MIN.)

 

 

OFF

After the first attempt at dialing fails, redialing is not

 

attempted.
