Cleaning the Heat Deflector
The heat deflector will collect grease and food residuals.
It should be removed and cleaned after every use.
When removing the heat deflector, use care to avoid chipping its ceramic surface. Wash with a mild cleaner/ degreaser, rinse and dry. Make sure the heat deflector is fully inserted back in its position before using the grill.
