Agilent Technologies certifies tha t this product met its published specifications at the time of shipment from the factory. Agilent Tech-

nologies further certifies that its calibration measurements are traceable to the United States National Institute of Standards and Tech-

nology (formerly National Burea u of Sta ndards), to the extent allowed by that organi zat i on’ s calibration facility, and to the calibration

facilities of other Internatio nal Standards Organization members.

This Agilent Technologies produ ct is w ar ra n t ed a gainst defects in materials and work m ans hip for a period of three years from date of

shipment. Duration and conditions of warranty for this product may be superseded when the product is integrated into (becomes a part

of) other Agilent products. During the wa rr anty period, Agilent Technologies wi l l, at its option, either repair or replace products which

prove to be defective.

For warranty service or repair, thi s pr oduct must be returned to a service facil it y de si gnated by Agilent Technologies. Buyer shall pre-

pay shipping charges to Agilent and Agilent shall pay shipping charges to retu rn t he p rod uct t o B uyer. However, Buyer shall pay all

shipping charges, duties, and taxes for products returned to Agilent from another country.

Agilent warrants that its software and firmware designated by Agilent for use with a p roduct will execute its programming instructions

when properly installed on that pro duct. Agilent does not warrant that the operation of the product, or software, or firmw are will be un-

interrupted or error free.

The foregoing warranty shall not apply to defects resulting from improper or inadequate maintenance by Buyer, Buye r-supplied prod-

ucts or interfacing, unauthorized m odi f ic at i on or misuse, operation outside of the environmental specifications for the product, or im-

proper site preparation or maintenance.

The design and implementatio n of a ny ci rcuit on this product is the sole responsibi l it y of th e B uyer. Agilent does not warrant the

Buyer’s circuitry or malfunctions of A gi le nt products that result from the Buyer’s circu itry. In addition, Agilent does not warrant any

damage that occurs as a result of the B uyer’s circuit or any defects that resul t from B uyer-supplied products.

NO OTHER WARRANTY IS EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. Agilent SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES

OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

THE REMEDIES PROVIDED HEREIN ARE BUYER’S SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDIES. Agilent SHALL NOT BE LIABLE

FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, WHETHER BASED ON CON-

TRACT, TORT, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY.
