Appendix A. Installing the Battery Backup Unit

Installation Instructions

1For full-height controllers, turn the controller memory-side down on a flat surface.

2Remove the screws that connect the PCI bracket to the controller and set the bracket aside.

Half-height board: bracket unscrews from top side of board.

Full-height board: bracket unscrews from bottom side of board.

3 For full-height controllers, turn the controller memory side up.
