Day 1:
∙Plan and prepare erection
∙Assemble tower
∙Test generator and use it as a motor to test drive train
∙Clean blades and install tip brake cable
∙Prepare tip brake studs and cavity
∙Prepare blade bolt inserts
∙Attach twist cable
∙Install two of three blades if time permits (fork lift, boom truck, etc.)
Day 2:
∙Lift and install tower on foundation (crane)
∙Install blades on hub
∙Install tip brakes on blade ends
∙Lift and mount machine onto the tower
∙Torque tower top fasteners
∙Torque all tower bolts and add pal nuts
Day 3:
∙Install and wire anemometers
∙Wire twist cable junction box and disconnect (if applicable) at tower base
∙Grout tower legs
∙Mount warning signs as required
∙Troubleshoot and commission
Day 4:
∙Complete any further installation details
∙Carry out final QA check
∙Monitor performance (wind permitting)
