For this reason, you must not dispose of such equipment toge- ther with unsorted municipal (domestic) waste. To protect our environment, pubic collection points are available at which you can dispose of waste electrical and electronic equipment that bears this symbol.

To prevent these substances from spreading in our environment and reduce the pollution of natural resources, you can also take part in the Avaya take-back scheme for waste equipment. Under this scheme, the materials in the waste equipment will be recovered in a proper pro- fessional manner with individual components being re-used.
