Removing the Chassis Cover

CAUTION: THIS UNIT MAY HAVE MORE THAN ONE POWER SUPPLY CORD. DISCONNECT TWO POWER SUPPLY CORDS BEFORE SERVICING TO AVOID ELECTRIC SHOCK.

To remove the chassis cover, proceed as follows:

1.Disconnect the 2E43-51 from the network as follows:

a.For the 2E43-51, unplug the power cord from the rear of the chassis. For the 2E43-51R, unplug both power cords from the rear of the chassis.

TURN OFF THE 2E43-51 BY UNPLUGGING THE POWER CORD FROM THE REAR OF THE CHASSIS.

AM HINTEN DES 2E43-51 STECHEI ABZIEHEN UM AUS ZU SCHALTEN.

APAGUE EL 2E43-51 DESENCHUFE EL CABLE DE LA UNIDAD.

Before performing step b, mark the cables connected to the

TIP 2E43-51 according to their associated port numbers. This is recommended for ease of reinstallation.

b.Disconnect all network cables attached to the 2E43-51.
