5.3.3Telnet Connections

Once the 2E43-51 has a valid IP address, the user can establish a Telnet session with Local Management from any TCP/IP based node on the network. Telnet connections to the 2E43-51 require the community name passwords assigned at the SNMP Community Names screen of the 2E43-51.

For information about setting the IP address, refer to Section 5.7.

For information about assigning community names, refer to Section 5.8.

Refer to the instructions included with the Telnet application for information about establishing a Telnet session.
