		Chapter 3 : Creating a Project
3.1. Project Description
General introduction	This section describes how to begin creating your 123 Print project.
New Project	Start first by creating a new project. On the menu bar:
	1	Click File
	2	Click New

Alternatively, on the tool bar, click on the New Project icon.

The Project Description screen is displayed as shown here

Notice that there are 6 fields available to describe the project you are creating:

Project Name *	The name you wish to assign to your
	project/application
Version *	The build version of your application. This is a
	number you assign for project version control
Author	Typically your name or the name of the
	company creating the application
Printer Type *	The target Datamax printer model for the
	project you are creating.
Printer Name	An alias for the targeted printer. This is useful
	for the later management of a group of
	printers
Notes	Notes you write about this project for future
	reference

The three fields flagged by * are compulsory fields.
