T H I S C H E C K P O I N T A N D C O N T A C T D E L L TE C H N I C A L S U P P O R T — The computer failed to complete the boot routine three consecutive times for the same error (see "Getting Help" on page 183 for assistance).
CMOS C H E C K S U M E R R O R — Possible motherboard failure or RTC battery low. Replace battery (see "Replacing the Battery" on page 142 or see "Getting Help" on page 183 for assistance).
CPU F A N F A I L U R E — CPU fan failure. Replace CPU fan (see "Removing the Processor Fan" on page 154).
D I S K E T T E D R I V E 0 S E E K F A I L U R E — A cable may be loose, or the computer configuration information may not match the hardware configuration. Check cable connections (see "Getting Help" on page 183 for assistance).
D I S K E T T E R E A D F A I L U R E — The floppy disk may be defective or a cable may be loose. Replace floppy disk/check for loose cable connection.
H A R D - D I S K D R I V E F A I L U R E — Possible hard disk drive failure during HDD POST. check cables /swap hard disks (see "Getting Help" on page 183 for assistance).
H A R D - D I S K D R I V E R E A D F A I L U R E — Possible HDD failure during HDD boot test (see "Getting Help" on page 183 for assistance).
K E Y B O A R D F A I L U R E — Keyboard failure or keyboard cable loose (see "Keyboard Problems" on page 58).
