6.1MANAGEMENT SETUP MENU SCREEN

The menu items provided by the Management Setup Menu screen (Figure 6-1) are described in the following sections.

Selection	Description
Network Configuration Menu	Provides access to two screens to perform functions that
	include IP setup, Ping facility, HTTP (Web Agent) setup,
	Telnet configuration, and MAC address. For details, refer to
	Section 6.2.
Serial Port Configuration	Sets communication parameters for the serial port, including
	management mode, baud rate, console time-out, and screen
	data refresh interval. For details, refer to Section 6.3.
SNMP Configuration Menu	Activates traps and configures communities and trap
	managers. For details, refer to Section 6.4.
Console Login Configuration	Sets user names and passwords for system access, as well as
	the invalid password threshold and lockout time. For details,
	refer to Section 6.5.
