3.1.4 Air flow
It is recommended that this optical disk drive be installed in a fanless cabinet. However, if the power supply is included in the same cabinet, the “Temperature Conditions” in 3.1.2 must be met. Furthermore, we recommend that the speed of air drawing in by the device from the left side of the cartridge loading slot in the front panel dose not exceed 0.3m/s for MCM3064SS or MCM3130SS, and dose not exceed 0.1m/s for MCP3064SS or MCP3130SS. 3.1.5 Air cleanliness
The air cleanliness in the device environment is expressed by the number of dust particles per unit area. Fujitsu recommends using the optical disk drive in the environment of class 5 million or less particle level. (Class 5 million: This means there are 5 million dust particles of 0.5 ∝ m diameter or larger per cubic foot. This is equivalent to 0.15 mg/m3.)
