4.16.2 Checking for New Updates

You can check whether new updates are available from the published server for the scanner system, security system, and installed options.

You can also set whether to receive an e-mail notification if a new update is released.

To use the proxy server to check for released updates, set the HTTP proxy server as necessary. For details about settings, refer to "4.8.5 Setting the Proxy Server" (page 118).

■Checking for New Updates Manually

1.Select [Monitoring & Management] J [Maintenance] J [System Update].

D The [System Update] window appears.

2. Press the [Check for Updates] button.

DChecking for new updates is performed.

When a necessary update is available, a message is displayed. Apply the update as necessary.
