6.9 Setting the Scan Options

6.9.4 Resolution

Changing the resolution level affects the scanned data in the following ways.

Item	High resolution	Low resolution

Scan speed	Slow	Fast

Scan quality	High	Low

File size	Large	Small

1.On the [Scan Settings] window, select the [Basic] tab.

2.Press the [Resolution] button.

DThe [Resolution] window appears.

3.Select a resolution level.

DThis returns you to the [Scan Settings] window. The selected level is displayed to the right of the [Resolution] button.
