Using Process Control Editing Events

Editing Events

Introduction You are not able to edit an event unless the event is suspended.

Procedure To edit an existing event, complete the following steps:

Editing an event
1Click Process Control on The Desk.
System response
The system displays the Gentran:Server Process Control dialog box.
2Click the Events tab to display the event options.

The system displays the Process Control dialog box (Events tab).
3Select the event that you want to modify and click Edit.
System response
The system displays the Event Setup dialog box.
4If you want to modify the description of the event, type the new
description in the Description box.
5If you want to select another session to be executed, do so from the
Session list.
6If you want to change the controller on which you want this event to
be run, type the machine name in the Controller box.
7Do you want to designate this event as a notification type?
If yes, select the check box and continue with Step 2 in Saving
the event on page 11 - 30.
If no, continue with the next step.
