Installing an Expansion Bay Drive

7Tighten the four screws that fasten the drive to the bay.

8Connect the data and power cables, and for a DVD, CD-RW or CD-ROM drive, the CD audio cable.

•If this is the second device installed in the expansion bays, fit the data connector marked CD SLAVE.

•If this is the only device, fit the end CD connector marked CD Master.

9Check that the jumpers on the drive are set to CS (cable select) mode.

10Replace the front panel. Refer to page 54.

11Replace the side panel. Refer to page 53.

12Replace the main cover. Refer to page 49.
