Memory

specify the largest media size you plan to use for each resolution. Memory is then automatically allocated to the clients that require it.

»Note: The printer does not allow you to choose features that do not work with the amount of memory currently installed.

Using the Frame Buffer option does not change the media size. It just ensures that you have enough memory allocated to the appropriate clients to print on the requested media size.
