1.Access the Link Menu.

2.For Port speed, select 300, 1200, 2400, 4800, 9600, 19.2K, 38.4K, 57.6K, 115.2K, or

Autobaud. The default is 9600.

This example displays Port speed set to 4800.

Description

This menu item defines the number of stop bits. A stop bit is an extra bit at the end of an asynchronous character that helps the receiver recognize the end of the character.
