Tes t Fi ring
You can test to determine if a subject is within the appropriate distance range for the
current aperture.
1Turn on th e camera.
2Turn on the Speedlight.
3Lightly press the Shutter
Release button, then release.
4Aim the Speedlight at the
subject and press its FLASH
button
5Confirm that the Ready light is
On.
If the Ready lights on the
Speedlight and inside the
camera viewfinder blink for
approximately 3 seconds after
the firing, the light may h ave
been insufficient for corr ect
exposure. If this occurs, use a
wider aperture or m ove closer to
the subject before capturing
images. Refer to the SB - 28
instruction manual.
In Auto Aperture mode, the
camera determines the aperture
and the flash conducts auto fl ash
with that f-stop.
