Obtaining the Meter Reading in Manual E xpo sure Mode

If you are using Manual Exposure mode and want to set an exposure for a specific

brightness value within the scene, switch the me te ri ng sy stem to Center-Weighted or Spot

and use the following method.

1Center the main subject inside

the viewfinder and/or move in

closer until the reference circle

for Center-Weighted Metering

or Spot Metering is fully

covered by the subject.

2Lightly press the Shutter

Release button.
