It is not necessary to turn off the camera before inserting or removing a card.

1Check the Card Present icon on

the Back Status LCD panel. It

blinks when a card is busy.

2Lift the latch assembly on the

Battery/PC Card door and turn it

counter-clockwise to open the

door.
