1• Do not use aluminum foil, carbon paper, or similar conductive paper to avoid a fire or equipment failure.
Important
❒Do not use any of the following kinds of paper or a fault might occur.
•Thermal fax paper
•Art paper
•Aluminum foil
•Carbon paper
•Conductive paper
•OHP transparencies for color copying
•Paper with perforated lines
•Hemmed paper
❒Do not copy on the side of paper that has been already copied on or a fault might occur.
Note
❒Do not use the following kinds of paper or a misfeed might occur.
•Bent, folded, or creased paper
•Torn paper
•Slippery paper
•Perforated paper
•Rough paper
•Thin paper that has low stiffness
•Paper with a lot of paper dust on its surface
❒If you make a copy on rough grain paper, the copy image might be blurred.
❒Do not use paper that has been already copied or printed on or a fault might occur.
Paper StorageNote
❒When storing paper, the following precautions should always be followed:
•Do not store paper where it will be exposed to direct sunlight.
•Avoid storing paper in humid areas (humidity: 70% or less).
•Store on a flat surface.
❒Under high temperature and high humidity conditions or low temperature and low humidity conditions, store paper in a vinyl bag.
