Preset Reduce/Enlarge

You can select a preset ratio for copy- ing.

Note

The reproduction ratios that you can specify are 25-400% (25-200% when placing originals in the doc- ument feeder).

You can select one of 12 preset ra- tios (5 enlargement ratios, 7 reduc- tion ratios).

Use "Create Margin" to reduce the image to 93% of its original size with the center as reference. You can register this function in a

You can change the preset ratios to other ratios you frequently use. ⇒ "Enlarge 1-5" on p.191 “Reproduc-

You can specify if [Reduce], [En- large] or [Mag. Ratio] is to be given

priority and displayed when the

[Reduce/Enlarge] key is pressed. ⇒

You can select a ratio regardless of the size of an original or copy pa- per. With some ratios, parts of the image might not be copied or mar- gins will appear on copies.

Copies can be reduced or enlarged as follows.
