1: Paper guide release lever

CLightly insert the copy paper face down and adjust the paper guide.

The kindicator on the display automatically goes on.

❒Swing out the extender to sup-

port paper sizes larger than A4L, 81/2" ⋅ 11"L.

❒Fan paper to get air between the sheets and avoid a multi-sheet feed.

❒Before setting, adjust the paper if curled or warped.

DPush down the paper guide release lever.

"Bypass" is selected automatically.

❒If the guides are not flush with the copy paper, images might be skewed or paper misfeed might occur.

❒Set the direction of the copy pa- per to L.

When copying onto standard size paper

APress the {#}key.

BPress the [Select Size] key.
