Understanding printer menus		119
	Use	To
	Timeouts	Set the amount of time in seconds the printer waits before
	Screen Timeout	returning the display to the Ready state.
	15–300 sec	Note: “30 sec” is the factory default setting.
	Timeouts	Set the amount of time in seconds the printer waits to receive an
	Print Timeout	end‑of‑job message before canceling the remainder of the print
	Disabled	job.
	1–255 sec	Notes:
		• “90 sec “is the factory default setting.
		• When the timer expires, any partially printed page still in the
		printer is printed, and then the scanner checks to see if any
		new print jobs are waiting.
		• Print Timeout is available only when using PCL emulation.
		This setting has no effect on PostScript emulation print jobs.
	Timeouts	Set the amount of time in seconds the printer waits for additional
	Wait Timeout	data before canceling a print job.
	Disabled	Notes:
	15–65535 sec	• “40 sec” is the factory default setting.
		• Wait Timeout is available only when the printer is using
		PostScript emulation. This setting has no effect on PCL
		emulation print jobs.
	Error Recovery	Automatically reboot the printer back into the normal operation.
	Auto Reboot	Note: “Reboot when idle” is the factory default setting.

	Error Recovery	Determine the number of automatic reboots the printer can
	Max Auto Reboots	perform.
	1‑20	Note: 5 is the factory default setting.
	Print Recovery	Let the printer automatically continue printing from certain offline
	Auto Continue	situations when these are not resolved within the specified time
	Disabled	period.
		Note: Disabled is the factory default setting.
	5–255
	Print Recovery	Specify whether the printer reprints jammed pages.
	Jam Recovery	Notes:
	On
		• Auto is the factory default setting. The printer reprints
	Off
		jammed pages unless the memory required to hold the
	Auto
		pages is needed for other printer tasks.
		• On sets the printer to always reprint jammed pages.
		• Off sets the printer to never reprint jammed pages.
