Cover Open: Close OPC Cover

The door (OPC Cover) under the scanner unit is open. Close the OPC door to clear the message.

Cover Open: Close Rear Cover

Close the rear door to clear the message.

Communication Error

A network communication error has occurred. Check network settings and connections.

Dial Fail

The printer attempted to dial the fax number and send the fax several times but could not connect with the destination fax machine. Try sending the fax again.

Dialing

The printer is dialing a fax number. Wait for the message to clear.

Duplicate IP: Duplicate IP Address Found

The IP address has been duplicated.

Disconnect the LAN cable, change the IP address using the Network Settings menu, and then reconnect the LAN cable.

Email Size Over: Email Size Limit Exceeded

The scan job is too large to send. Increase the Limitation Of Size Of Mail setting, and then scan the job again. If the message occurs again, lower the scan resolution to decrease the job size.

Fail to Connect to Server: Server Connection Failed

A network communication error has occurred. Check network settings and connections.

Fuser Life: Replace Fuser

1Replace the fuser unit.

2From the Machine Settings menu, reset the fuser counter.

Incoming Call

The printer is preparing to answer a fax call. Wait for the message to clear.

Initializing

Initial diagnostics are running. Wait for the message to clear.

Job #

The scanner is busy. Wait for the message to clear.

Memory Full

There is insufficient memory to complete the current copy job. Cancel the job, and then try copying it again.

Memory Near Full

There may be insufficient memory to complete the current print job. If the job fails to print, cancel the job, and then try sending it again.
