When the STB is configured for FTG Mode, remote management of the FTG Channel Map and FTG Installer Menu settings is provided by a Pro:Centric server, via a TLX file loaded on the Pro:Centric server Admin Client. Refer to the Pro:Centric Server Admin Client User Guide for further information.
Determining the STB Operating Mode
To determine the operating mode of the STB, press MENU on the Installer Remote. The menu displayed depends on the operating mode. See examples below.
If the Function Menu appears, the STB is in a mode (FTG, PPV, etc.) that does not allow the end user to change the fundamental STB setup. If the STB setup menus appear, the STB is in
