1.1.5Watch-dog Installation for QLR1660

If the system is stopped by abnormal operation, watchdog will automatically reboot the computer. The watchdog will restart the computer automatically if it did not receive any response from the system for more than 5 minutes. Each QLR1660 video capture card has a Reset pin (4pin) for watch-dog. It should be connected to the motherboard’s reset jumper and computer’s reset switch. Your motherboards’ RESET pin position might be different from the illustration below. [NOTE] In case QLR1660-2 with two video capture cards, the cable should be connected to the

reset pin (4pin) for watch-dog of master card among two cards. Master card is that card is inserted in slot located near to VGA card slot.
