Input channels

Matrox Meteor-II /Standard for PCI and PC/104-Pluscan switch between up to twelve independent composite or six Y/C video sources. Matrox Meteor-II /Standard for CompactPCI can switch between seven independent composite sources, or up to three Y/C video sources.

You can only acquire data from one channel at a time. Channels can be selected with the MIL-Lite command, MdigChannel().

Low-pass filter

The input low-pass filtering stage is used to limit high frequency noise and aliasing effects at the input of the decoder. The filter used on Matrox Meteor-II /Standard for PCI and CompactPCI is a 4th order Butterworth filter with a cutoff frequency of 8 MHZ. The filter used on Matrox Meteor-II /Standard for PC/104-Plusis a single-order filter with a cutoff frequency of 6 MHz.

Video decoder

A multi-standard video decoder is used to convert NTSC and PAL analog video signals that are in composite (CVBS), or (Y/C) formats to digitized component video. The decoder supports
