Synchronizing with ActiveSync

You can use Microsoft® ActiveSync® technology to synchronize information on your desktop computer and/or a Microsoft® Exchange Server with the information on your phone. ActiveSync compares the information on your phone with the information on your desktop computer and/or the server and updates all locations, keeping you up-to-date with the most recent information.

Note: You can synchronize information directly with a Microsoft Exchange Server only if your company is running Microsoft® Mobile Information Server 2002 or later.

Installing ActiveSync

For instructions on installing ActiveSync on your desktop computer, see the Smartphone 2002 Quick Start Card . ActiveSync is already installed on your phone.

Note: Make sure to install ActiveSync on your desktop PC before connecting your phone to your desktop PC.
