The FIRMWARE Configuration Page
This page allows you to update the version of firmware installed in your WR850, as new releases are posted on the Motorola Home Networking Support web site. (You can reach this site by visiting http://www.motorola.com/homenetworking and clicking the “Support and Downloads” link.)

Field | Description |
Firmware | Shows the version of firmware currently installed in your WR850. |

New Firmware: | Sets a new firmware version to be installed on your WR850. |
| After downloading a new firmware package to your computer, and |
| extracting the firmware (.trx) file from the package, click the |
| Browse … button to locate that firmware file and select it. Once you |
| select the file, its file name will appear in this field. |
| After confirming that the proper file name is displayed, click the |
| Upgrade button to proceed with the update. |
| NOTE: Your WR850 will reboot as part of installing the new firmware |
| version. |
