Chapter 9 VisuaLink Troubleshooting Guide

Make sure the outlet has power and not controlled by a switch.

Check the power switch on the monitor.

 

 

Is the monitor set for the correct display input?

 

 

Re-check the cable between the monitor and VisuaLink. There should be

 

 

a cable from the VideoOut 1 of the VL to the VideoIn 1 of the monitor.

 

 

[The remote picture can not be displayed]

 

 

Is the remote enabled to view the image in the PIP?

 

 

Press RECEIVE key on the remote control.

 

No picture is displayed on

Is the local end connected to the remote site?

Change the monitor picture to view the transmitting picture.

5. Is there a connection to the remote site?

[The local camera does not move]

 

 

Is the control set for local control? Press the STATUS button on the

 

 

remote controller to identify what type of control has been acquired.

 

 

Is the camera control cable connected?

 

Camera does not move

Is the camera powered ON. The camera must be powered ON when the

 

system is turned ON.

 

 

[The remote camera does not move]

 

 

Is the local end connected to the remote end?

 

 

Is the control set for remote control? Display indicates what type of

 

 

control is acquired.
