PA-8RSTY

1. General Function

The PA-8RSTY circ uit card is equipped with eight circuit s of Regi sters and Senders. More specif ical ly , this

card conta ins Dial Pulse Re gist er (DPR), Pu sh Button Receive r (P BR) f or rece i ving digi ts from exte nsions

and/or the associated incoming trunks and Dial Pulse Sender (DPS), PB Signal Sender (P B S) for sending

digits to a distant switching system. In addition, this card has “Re gister Sen der” function, by which inter-

digit pause can be changed and PB signals may be converted to DP signals and vice versa without

intervention of the CPU. The card can be used for caller ID se rvice.

Note: The PA-8RSTY card requires Series 7400 or later software.
