1. General Function

The PA-16 L CBY circu it card provid es an i n te rface between a ma x im u m of 16 anal o g voi ce term i na ls an d

the system with a range of 1200 (Ohm) inclusive of terminal resistance. This card also can send “Stutter

Dial Tone”, which is not a continuous tone , to an associ ated termi nal which has no Message Waiting La mp

(MWL) instead of activating the MWL if required. In addition polarity reverse function is provided f o r 16

channels on this card. The card can be used for Caller ID service. This is a -48V card.

Note: The PA-16LCBY card re quires Series 7400 or later software.
