1. General Function

The PA-CFTB (CFT) circuit card provides an interface for establis hi n g a conferenc e, wh ich i s made up of

a maximum of eight parties.

A maximum of seven Tie Lines can participate in a conference when the asso ciated trunks can receive an

answer signal and a release signal from the distant switching system. On the other hand, in the case of a

C.O. line, one C.O. line can be conne cted even if the p ublic swit ching sys te m cannot send a n answer signal

and/o r rele ase signal. Not e that a T ie Line and a C.O. Li ne cannot t ake part in a conference at th e same ti me.

The card adopts “N-1 addition” method for establishing a conference.

Note: This circ uit card is used for following features:
